BOH TEA

Since 2009 we have had the honour to be the Scandinavian distributors of BOH tea and one of the few partners to import this fine Malaysian Tea. In 1929 J.A. Russel obtained a track freehold land 5,000 feet above sea level and transformed it into the first highland tea garden in Malaysia. He personally named the creation BOH. And with it began the history of BOH Plantations.

Today, BOH is fully-integrated tea company. One of the few companies in the world which grows,processes, packs and markets its own premium brand of tea. BOH Plantations owns four tea gardens with a total planted area of 1,200 hectares: BOH, Farlie and Sungei Palas in Cameron Highland, and Bukit Cheeding in the lowlands. Collectively, they produce over 4 million KG of tea annually or app. 5.5 million cups a day!

BOH is one of the world’s tea specialists; mastering tea production right from the bush to your cup. Their gardens are nutured by generations of tea experts committed to producing teas of exceptional quality and distinctive character. The aroma, freshness and unique taste of BOH’s teas are a testament to our continued dedication to the fine art of tea making.

BOH Plantation also work for a better world, begining with having a good and loyal team of employees. The employees at BOH whether it’s the tea plucker or tea taster all get good and fair treatment beeing an important part of the great BOH team. Where they are all offered health checkup, the workers with families are supported with schools /kindergarden for their children and the native previous jungle people, Orang Asli, still stay in outskirts of BOH Plantation, working here and getting education for their children.

BOH support a wide number of organisations like WWF with a focus for the local orangutans in Sabah and maintaining a diverse nature among the plantations, leaving jungle areas for the wild life.
